Terms and Conditions for The Designer Life Kit

1. Product Overview

The Designer Life Kit (hereinafter referred to as "the Product") is a comprehensive Notion dashboard system created by Random Pattern Studio Limited, designed to support design professionals who are also parents in managing their work and personal life.

2. Purchase and Ownership

2.1 By purchasing The Designer Life Kit, you acquire a personal, non-transferable license to use the Product.
2.2 The Product is intended for individual use and may not be shared, resold, or distributed to other individuals or entities.

3. Usage Rights

3.1 Single User License

• The Designer Life Kit is licensed for use by a single individual.
• The template can be purchased as a gift for another person, but the license transfers to that specific individual.
• The dashboard is intended for personal use in managing an individual's work and life tasks.

A commercial or team license (covering up to 5 users) may be introduced at a later date and will require separate purchase.

3.2 Purchasers are granted the right to:

• Duplicate and customize the Notion dashboard for personal use.
• Adapt templates to fit individual work and life management needs.

3.3 Purchasers may NOT:

• Share the dashboard template with other individuals.
• Redistribute the Product or any of its components.
• Resell or transfer the dashboard template.
• Claim ownership of the original dashboard design.
• Use the Product for commercial purposes beyond personal business management.
• Create derivative works for public distribution, sale, or teaching purposes.
• Sell, distribute, or publicly share customized or modified versions of the Product.

3.4 Permitted Secondary Use

• Purchasers may buy the template as a gift for another individual, effectively transferring the single-user license.
• The template cannot be shared across multiple users or team accounts unless otherwise licensed.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership and Copyright

The Designer Life Kit is the exclusive intellectual property of Random Pattern Studio Limited.
All design elements, frameworks, templates, and original content within the Product are legally protected and owned by Random Pattern Studio Limited.

4.2 Intellectual Property Protections

Users are prohibited from:

• Removing or altering copyright notices.
• Modifying or attempting to claim ownership of the original dashboard design.
• Using the Product's design elements outside of personal use.

4.3 Legal Recourse

Random Pattern Studio Limited reserves the right to pursue legal action against any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the Product or its components.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

5.1 The Product is provided "as is" without any guarantees of specific outcomes or performance.
5.2 Random Pattern Studio Limited is not responsible for:

• Individual implementation of the dashboard.
• Specific business or personal results achieved through the Product.
• Technical issues arising from Notion platform updates or changes.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 The current price of The Designer Life Kit is $37.
6.2 Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

7. No Refund Policy

7.1 Due to the digital nature of the Product, no refunds will be issued after purchase.
7.2 By completing the purchase, the buyer acknowledges and accepts the non-refundable status of the Product.
7.3 By purchasing, you expressly consent to receiving the Product immediately and acknowledge that this waives your right to cancel or request a refund under applicable digital goods regulations.

8. Access and Downloads

8.1 Template Access Duration

Purchasers have 24 months (2 years) from the date of purchase to:

• Download the Notion template.
• Duplicate the template to their personal Notion workspace.
• Access the original template link.

8.2 Access Limitations

After the 24-month period:

• The original template link may be deactivated.
• No further downloads or duplications may be guaranteed.
• Users are responsible for maintaining their personal copy.

8.3 Future Updates

Future updates to the Product are at the discretion of Random Pattern Studio Limited. Existing purchasers will not automatically receive future versions and may be required to repurchase new releases.

8.4 Support Scope

Basic email support is provided for:

• Technical questions related to dashboard setup.
• Initial template duplication assistance.
• Clarifications about dashboard features.

Support is available for 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.

8.5 Support Exclusions

Support does not include:

• Personalized business or life coaching.
• Individual customization beyond the provided template.
• Extensive troubleshooting of personal Notion workspace issues.
• Template access or restoration after the 24-month period.

9. Product Discontinuation and Long-Term Support

9.1 Random Pattern Studio Limited reserves the right to discontinue The Designer Life Kit at any time. Discontinuation does not invalidate existing user licenses.
9.2 In the event of product discontinuation, Random Pattern Studio Limited commits to:

• Maintaining the existing Notion template link for a minimum of 12 months.
• Providing basic documentation for template duplication.
• Offering a final communication to all users about template status.
  9.3 Random Pattern Studio Limited is not obligated to:
• Provide continuous updates to the template.
• Modify the template to match future Notion platform changes.
• Offer extensive technical support indefinitely.
  9.4 Users are encouraged to:
• Create personal backups of the template.
• Be prepared for potential future modifications to Notion's platform.
• Understand that the template's functionality may change with platform updates.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 The total liability of Random Pattern Studio Limited is limited to the purchase price of the Product.
10.2 Random Pattern Studio Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Indemnification

The purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Random Pattern Studio Limited, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use or misuse of the Product.

12. Privacy

Random Pattern Studio Limited collects limited personal information (such as name and email) for purchase processing and product access. This information will not be sold or shared with third parties and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Modifications to Terms

13.1 These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Random Pattern Studio Limited.
13.2 Current terms will always be available on the product purchase page.

14. Affiliate Program

Random Pattern Studio Limited reserves the right to introduce an affiliate program in the future. Affiliates will be authorized partners who promote The Designer Life Kit in exchange for a commission. All affiliates must comply with separate affiliate terms and conditions, which will be provided at the time of enrollment.

15. User Content and Sharing Permissions

15.1 Content Sharing Guidelines

Users may share personal screenshots of the dashboard for testimonial or demonstration purposes.
Screenshots should focus on individual use and personal organization.

Users may NOT create:

• Detailed tutorials about the template's internal structure.
• Comprehensive walkthroughs exposing template mechanics.
• Derivative works based on the dashboard design.

15.2 Review and Social Media Policy

Users are encouraged to share honest reviews and experiences.
Social media discussions about the product are welcome.
Reviews should be based on personal experience and usage.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from the purchase or use of The Designer Life Kit shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
