UX ELEVATOR

Stop settling for “okay.” Let’s elevate your brand and product

Think of us as your part-time design squad for 3, 6, or 12 months—ready to refine, expand, and make your brand and product less of a patchwork quilt and more of a masterpiece.

We must be doing something right—most clients signed up for 3 months and hang around for 2+ years

When “Meh” Isn’t Cutting It Anymore.

Your product feels like a patchwork quilt.

Different designers, different ideas—it’s a bit of a Frankenstein situation, and it shows.

Users are confused… again.

Despite your best efforts, the feedback is more “Huh?” than “Wow!”

New features are a nightmare.

Adding anything feels like playing Jenga; one wrong move, and everything topples.

Your design intern is overwhelmed.

They’re doing their best, but let’s face it—they need backup, not burnout.

The brand? Inconsistent at best.

The website, app, and marketing materials all look like they were designed by different people. Oh wait, they were.

Sound familiar? Let’s fix that.

Your Design Department Without the Full-Time Commitment.

I’m Pili Laviolette, a small business owner who’s spent nearly 20 years leading design projects across industries and continents. I created UX Elevator to give startups like yours a flexible design solution: a retainer model that works like an in-house team, but without the big hire or the super long-term commitment. We’re here to handle everything—UX, branding, social media, pitch decks, and more—so you can stop juggling designers and finally create a cohesive, user-centered product and brand. Don’t worry, we’ll take the design weight off your shoulders, one step at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Isn’t this just a fancy name for a freelance designer?

Nope, this is more than just one designer on call. UX Elevator gives you an entire mini design team at your disposal—covering everything from UX/UI and branding to social media assets and pitch decks. It’s like having an in-house design department, but without the full-time salaries, drama, or hiring headaches. We’re in this for the long haul, not just a quick fix.

What if I only need help with one thing, like branding or pitch decks?

No problem! While UX Elevator is designed to be a full-service package, we’re happy to focus on specific projects, whether it’s branding, pitch decks, or even just refining your UX. The beauty of this service is its flexibility—you get to decide what you want to prioritize, and we’ll tailor our efforts accordingly.

How many hours do I actually get each week? Will you disappear halfway through the month?

You get exactly what you sign up for—anywhere from 5 to 20 hours a week, and yes, it covers everything: design work, feedback reviews, meetings, Slack chats, you name it. Most clients choose the 20-hour package for that extra oomph, but no matter what, we’ll have weekly or biweekly calls to set priorities, plus constant Slack banter, so you’re always in the loop. No disappearing acts here; we're in it with you, every step of the way.

Can I really commit to 3 months? What if I change my mind?

We get it—3 months can feel like a big commitment. That’s why we offer a one-month trial to start. If it’s not a match, no hard feelings. But if you love the progress (and we think you will), you can continue for the full 3, 6, or even 12 months. We’re flexible like that!

I have a design intern—won’t that be enough?

Interns are great, but they often need a lot of direction—which usually means more work for you. That’s where we come in. We’ll not only handle the heavy lifting, but we can also guide your intern, provide feedback, and help them grow. So, instead of spending your time managing their work, you’ll actually see results faster. Think of us as your intern’s design mentor and your product’s secret weapon.

What if I want to add more work halfway through the project? Will it mess things up?

Not at all! We get that priorities shift and new projects pop up. You can add extra work at any time by adding overtime hours to your retainer. This doesn’t mean your agreed bucket of hours will increase every month—it’s just for those times when you need a little extra design magic. No disruptions, no drama, just more design time whenever you need it.
